After a short hiatus releasing with Chord Marauders, co-founders of the label Congi are back on remix duties for the Canadian based production duo @siadicmusic which includes accompanying vocals from @sssaltoftheearth (a west Canadian vocalist/performing artist and sister to the Siadic boys).

Congi’s remix of ‘Motion’ sees @gaz_congi_frost & @tulip_congi signature production style in full force incorporating hypnotic melodies, smooth rhythmical elements, sweeping bass lines and various pieces of unforgettable ear candy throughout. Congi’s take on ‘Motion’ has been highly received by various DJ’s and producers in the BC Bass music scene this summer and has seen heavy rotation at festivals such as @basscoastfest , @shambhala_mf and @futureforestfestival

The release comprises two collaborative tracks "Vega" and "Boston Social" as well as two solo tracks from each producer. Cut to wax, Vega explores the more dissonant and hefty sides of Geode and FLO's dubstep repertoire. One for the heads. No repress!

We wanted to take a quick moment to shout out Alex Whybray for the incredible artwork he produced for Jafu’s forthcoming Stack City album. Alex has been a fan of our music for a long time so it was truly an honour to commission him for the project. A model maker by trade, Alex meticulously crafted the artwork by hand, referencing a vibrant retro-gaming / steampunk theme that we feel fits so perfectly with Jafu’s music. The pictures above show some of the early stages of the collage and process involved.
